Apparently lots of people dont like to actually research their query before asking questions and since there is no way to really force that (especially on FB), ive decided to log a list of Frequently Asked Questions and their related answers here.
First off, these are NOT VTX's (that stopped production in 2009) and are barely even related to them. Please do not say you have a VTX1300 Fury.
These apply to all years of the Honda VT1300 line of motorcycles, Fury, Sabre, Interstate and Stateline. They are not complete and will be added to when new questions pop up.
NOTE: None of the VT1300 models have changed over the years aside from paint color availability. All parts fit all years of the same model. I cannot speak as to which ones will swap from model to model save for a few items like rear pegs/brackets, side covers, grips, mirrors/controls, front pegs/boards/controls. They also do NOT have a petcock or "reserve tank" like carbed bikes do, mainly cause its not a good thing to run a fuel pump dry, whereas a carbutrator wont be ruined if you do.
Many parts fit all models like the handlebar controls, brake pads, head light bulbs, side covers, battery, ECU (computer), fuel controllers, air and oil filters, pegs and probably some other things i cant think of right now.
